So Mclovin If I go, your welcome to a spot instead of a $89 dollar hotel room. Only $79 here JUST KIDDING! I just have to firm up some plans with my other buddies to hopefully split some fuel costs. Also I can bring a bunch of firewood too! Also Anyone looking to just ride with for a little fuel cost to watch is welcome to ride as long as seats last!

Is beer aloud in this lot (campsite)?

Oh ya... THOSE DYNO AND PULL RATES ROCK ALSO!!!
Just make sure the firewood is pest free. Technically illegal to bring firewood across state lines these days due to insect & disease issues.

Beverages of your choice are welcome in this private campground. Do plan on primitive camping as current bushes do not grow there.

I will be there in my truck camper both nights.

bleachers

I did talk to Mike about spectator viewing at the truck pulls.

The old bleachers from the Northwood Men's club are not replaced at this time. I talked about the desire to build some and donate to the cause of either Men's Club or community park. Mike & I will talk again this week.

I hoping I can make this , the problem being the lack of work / money , if I do I would like to bring my Airstream trailer [ 4 beds & floor ] also awning to camp under .
But I would need some help with fuel to bring it ?
I would also be willing to go a few days early , and bring tools , carpentry & mec. , with generator , compressor , work for the fun of it [ free ] .
I think it would be fun to stay for multiple days .

I was actually thinking the same thing the past few days from all the posts I read. Times must be hard in the Minnesota area. Things are booming here in ND as they are in WYO and eastern Mont. Good crop prices last year "cattle market sucks now though". Big Oil boom again, coal and power generation is growing and Wind farms galore popping up all across the state. All these fields help every other aspect of the economy here as they have the highest salary base and lots of people to spend that money. Low end of salary for most of these jobs starts around 60k a year now. If you are a welder, trucker, equipment operator, Technician of any kind or an electrician or any kind of union worker the jobs are around. I almost moved to Wyo before I landed the job I have now.

Any word John? I think we could make them down here and bring them up as lumber and reassemble them in the parking lot.

Chris, we can talk more next time you stop by the shop... see if any of my rough ideas would work. I'm a mechanic not a carpenter.
