Tie Rod repair kits (anyone every try these?)

I got this link from a friend that had gotten poly bushing for his 3rd gen trackbar for cheap (44 bucks I believe). Fixed his death wooble he had. Anyway was looking at the end link repair kits. Mine isn't too loose yet as it was rebuilt about 40,000 ago. Just curious if anyone has tried anything like this?

I put one on a 1/2 ton gasser we have. Tightened the track bar up, fixed the wobble.. It still seems to be ok after 30k.
