ITS YOUR MONEY, and my lil ol opioion here.

It a personal preference thing I guess. On all the 6.2 Gms I ran in the past and my current VW I might change 1 a year so to me that doesn't justify changing them all at once nor does it show that others are close to dying, I actually keep track on occasion and find I change the same ones more often than not "Aftermarket parts" so changing them all in my book is not always the best plan. So at aprox 10 bucks apiece it still adds up. So why spend it if you don't need to.

The Fords are much different than old 6.2's with weak wiring and the newer VW's. Its kinda like not changing the rotor when your changing distributor caps. Do it now or do it sooner than later.

I can say I have not changed glow plugs on a 7.3 power stroke so maybe they are a bugger but the old 7.3 and 6.9 engines were easy as pie to do.

Its not that they are all that hard. Its just they only cost like 20.00 each. Is it worth it to do only one or two.
You just need to pull the valve covers and have at-er. They usualy come out pretty easy due to the fact that they are soak in oil at all times.

just a correction on a post earlier the 03 fords dont have e4od trannys they are 4r100 and not sure who builds a beefy tranny for the fords for $2500 hopefully someone else can tell you who to go to because i went to bts leadhill arkansas and it was $5000. also as for a good tuner i would go with one of these in this order cale at bts because they are wicked tunes and he will reburn for free 2 tony wildeman for same reason 3 dp also wicked tunes but he wont reburn for free they are all great people with great tunes from mild to WILD. hope this helps. as for glow plugs just get a good set not the autolite parts store speacial, and do them all and be done with it. imo
